Pop's Tractor

One of Avery's favorite things to do at Nona and Pop's is to ride on Pop's tractor with him. She is not scared at all...even though Craig might now be a little scared of it after it fractured his thumb. :)

Weekend in Texas

Wow, this weekend held a lot! We had a busy time in Texas visiting Nona and Pop. We even went down on Thursday night to give us an extra day, but it is always a whirlwind when we go to Texas just for the weekend. We went to our nephew Austin's soccer game which was great! 4, 5, and 6 year olds playing soccer is just too cute. Austin is really good and scored 2 or 3 goals! Then that night, we went to our niece Ashley's ballet recital. She was really good and brave for dancing in front of all of those people! In between those two events we spent a while in the minor emergency clinic in Longview because Craig decided to fracture his thumb while he and my dad were working on the fence. Tractors and city boys just don't mix I guess. :) But he's ok and will see an orthopedic specialist tomorrow. We all got to meet Rocky, the new pony, for the first time. He is so cute, but really shy and won't come up to you yet. Also, my dad's cows all have baby calves now, so there's one picture of that, too. What a fun, but busy weekend!

Makeup at 2?

The other day I was putting on my makeup in the living room where Avery could reach everything (stupid). Before I knew it, I looked over at her and she had my mascara open and was trying to put it on her eyelashes!!! Well, she missed and got her eyelid/eyebrow/forehead! It was too funny to get mad at, so I just took a picture and made a note to self to not leave makeup low anymore! Duh!

Go, Joe, Go!

At the most recent Mother's of Multiples sale, I picked up this little cheerleader dress for Avery for like one or two dollars! I had to get it because when Craig or I wear an Eskimo Joe shirt, she loves to look at Joe and Buffy and talk about them. She always notices an Eskimo Joe shirt even when I don't! However, when I got it home, even though the tag said it was a 2T, her diaper was hanging out. So we found these navy pants to match, and I think it turned out to be a pretty cute little play outfit! Ignore the unbrushed hair. :)

Hats

Nona is here visiting for a few days, and yesterday, Avery stayed in her pajamas all day! (Surely you other stay-at-home moms have done this, too!) However she had such a good day of playing and giggling. She was cracking us up all day! At one point she came out of her room with her rain boots on, and her Easter hat and her cowgirl hat both on top of her head! Oh the fun you can have with a two-year-old!
